The time has come for me to stop “spinnin”
The name “Still Spinnin” was obviously derived from the radio show that I used to be on in Milwaukee. The WISN “Early Spin”. I could have continued the site under the “earlyspinblog.com” domain since I owned that one as well, but back in August, I wanted to break away from the name, without throwing away what we had been doing on the air for a couple of years. The time has now come for me to make the break completely.
My website, www.dandeibert.com has been my comedy site for years, and now, I’m going to consolidate all of my web activities under that domain. My new blog is going to be called… wait for it… ‘The D Spot’ .

My new blog is going to have a new focus. I’m going to attempt to do a bunch of live web projects including more live blogging and live video blogcasting. I’m still going to talk politics of course, but I’m going to mix in lots of entertainment news, sports chat, technology talk, and pretty much anything else I’m interested in.
Much of what is in my online archive is going to go away. Sure, I’ll keep some stuff like the McGee and Troha songs, but I’ll be getting rid of any of my posts older than a few months.
According to my stats, I have about 600-900 unique visitors each day. That is both humbling and strange to me. I can’t believe that many people care about anything I have to say. My WIFE doesn’t even care about what I have to say about pretty much anything, so I’m honored that that many people stop by my little corner of the internet. I certainly hope you will follow me to my new home. (Which has really been my old home for many years.)
I’ll post here when the change takes effect.
